Aitana and Tomas had a destination wedding in Tuscany : they travelled with their families and friends coming from Argentina, Spain, the US for a full wedding experience so I planned a multi day celebration.
Their Italian wedding experience started with a pizza party in the garden of the agriturismo they were staying at. Two typical Italian Ape carts serving fresh made pizza, prosecco and beer at sunset was the perfect set up for an informal welcome party !
After a religious ceremony at the local church, the wedding celebration took place in the private villa of the agriturismo.
The Italian gardens were the perfect scenario for the typical aperitivo with different food corners and lounge sets. Imagine those Italian songs playing in the background while you’re having a glass of wine, some bruschetta, olives and Italian cheese.
During the design process I focused on giving homage to the Tuscan surroundings keeping the details simple yet chic and timeless.
I wanted to elevate the dinner area so we played with some serpentine tables and string lights, natural linens, crystal goblets. The olive centerpieces gave an extra tuscan touch and the brass candleholders and white candles created a romantic feel.
The mix of Argentinian, Spanish and Italian culture was the perfect mix for the party : some latin music and flamenco, traditional Argentinian cocktails and some delicious Italian desserts were the best way to end Aitana and Tomas’ wedding experience.
