Lake Garda Elopement

Planning a wedding at Isola del Garda was on my bucket list since I came back to Italy. So when Jasmine and Stephen said they wanted to celebrate their intimate wedding there I was over the moon!

This unique venue on Lake Garda is a private island rich in history and landscape views. On your arrival you'll feel as though you are entering another world, different to terra firma, which yet near seems to be extremely remote.

Jasmine and Stephen had a lovely symbolic ceremony overlooking the lake. The loggia with its 18th century frescoes and its marvellous architecture is the perfect place to exchange your vows and a beautiful canva for a design project.

Jasmine dreamt of a romantic and colourful design in dark shades of pink and blush. I wanted the ceremony area to feel more intimate but also enhance the site's splendid architecture. So, with the help of Flower Art Matteo Crugnola, we created two asymmetrical floral arrangements that stretched next to the couple.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't helping us. So after a delicious Italian aperitivo on the island, the couple took a private boat and headed back to Borgo il Mezzanino, the charming farmhouse they were staying at.

As the sun fell, Jasmine and Stephen enjoyed a delicious private dinner.

I created visual continuity from floor to ceiling, as the romantic burgundy and pink flowers hanging from the ceiling to the table arrangements, burgundy chargers and velvet chairs. We also moved the ceremony flowers at the table ends so Jasmine and Stephen could enjoy their flowers longer.

This elopement is the perfect example that these intimate weddings are not just a ceremony and photos, but a wedding for two, with all the details and special moments you've always dreamt.
