We came across Mari on Instagram and her weddings and elopements looked so beautiful, romantic and exactly what we wanted.Mari was so easy to deal with - she is quick to respond, enthusiastic about ideas and she was very patient when I was indecisive about things!Our elopement day came around and everything was absolutely perfect and even better than we could’ve imagined. Being from overseas we took a lot of guidance from Mari about locations and vendors and every person and place was wonderful! She brought out vision to life and more.We loved spending our elopement day with her, she is such a lovely person! Picking Mari to be our wedding planner was the easiest and BEST decision we made. We interviewed several planners and Mari was the clear choice from both a personality and style perspective. It felt like the other planners we interviewed wanted to simply repeat weddings they had done before. That is not what we wanted. Mari made it clear from the beginning that she will create a completely custom, one-of-a-kind, and magical experience that is uniquely tailored to who you are as a couple. She is an expert in her craft. Mari has a sophisticated aesthetic, and it comes through in the events she plans. She is meticulous with every single detail and incredibly organized. We planned our wedding in less than 7 months and while I know I was not Mari's only bride, she made me feel like I was! Throughout the planning, she promptly responded to emails and worked so hard to make our multi-day wedding perfect. Mari respected our budget, managed all of the vendor contracts, and made it a seamless and well-organized experience. It exceeded any expectations we could have had. Beyond that, our guests were BLOWN AWAY with the experience they had. Our wedding was 3 months ago, and we still get comments from our friends and family that it was the best wedding they ever attended. Where does one even begin with Marigiulia Sella? Italy holds an incredibly special place in our hearts, so we had always envisioned having our wedding ceremony in Lake Como. We had a grand vision, but we, as many couples learn pretty quickly through the planning process, didn't know how to fit all of our ideas together - that is where Mari stepped in and brought our vision to life. From day one, she not only understood what was important to us, but refined it, while also balancing different options and pointing out aspects we never would have ever thought of. When it comes to planning, we are both very particular on details (to a fault!), have to juggle travel schedules and high pressure careers - yet Mari didn't skip a beat and was so helpful and accommodating the entire time. It really took the weight off our shoulders to know we had Mari on our side every step of the way. But where Mari really shines is her authenticity, passion and how much she truly cares - and nowhere was that more evident than on our actual wedding day. Her excitement is infectious and she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, but in a way that felt natural, calm and effortless (of course, we know there was an incredible amount of effort that went on behind the scenes). She turned what could have been a hectic, stressful day, into one that was exciting and allowed us to truly take it all in and be in the moment. Mari went above and beyond for me on and even before our wedding day. We eloped in Positano and the weather was unpredictable. We had rented a boat to exchange private vows on and it was cancelled last minute due to rough seas. Mari sprung into action and located an empty looking hotel terrace on the beach and asked them if we could use them their space. They were kind enough to accommodate and it was honestly perfect for me. My favorite part of the day was drinking a bottle of champagne after the ceremony and running around on the beach for photos. And of course, Mari saving the day. The planning process spanned over approximately two years and Mari was so responsive and accommodating the entire time. She helped with every single stupid question I had as this was my first trip to Italy and even helped me with mailing my wedding dress home to the US after the wedding. I recommend Mari to anyone looking for a planner. She is a kind soul and an incredible planner with connections to amazing vendors. The process was seamless. If I ever get married again (hopefully not!), I know who to call.
Mari, you are such a special and kind soul! Thank you for making my day so easy. Not only are you an incredible wedding planner, but you're also a friend that we all need on our wedding day. Your ability to keep me calm throughout the entire day and handle everything, from guests and vendors arriving to the very end after we cut the cake, exceeded my expectations by far. I'm thrilled to refer people to you because I know from firsthand experience that you'll treat them like family, and they will also have an outstanding experience. My favorite part was definitely the ceremony; you brought my vision to life, from having a harpist to all-white flowers.
